SAVE THE DATE & CALL FOR SPEAKERS
The Forum for Interlending and Information Delivery (FIL) are delighted to confirm that the only UK annual conference specifically for and about the world of inter-library loans, Interlend 2018, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham on the 25 – 26 June 2018.
As the premier UK inter-lending community conference, Interlend annually attracts around 60-80 interlending staff from all levels of seniority with a large proportion of our delegates being inter-lending practitioners i.e. library assistants rather than professional grades. The British Library has created a number of online videos designed to show you how to use our new online Document Supply Service.
The short videos show you in detail how to use each and every aspect of BLDSS – from Registration to Searching & Ordering to using the Administrative features.

Phased implementation of BLDSS is currently underway and approximately 35% of all requests from ARTEmail and ARTWeb customers are now being processed via the new service. Copac , the National, Academic and Specialist Library Catalogue, has an updated and refreshed new look. This is the first stage of a major redevelopment and work will continue, eg. to improve mobile support.
Copac exposes rare and unique research material by bringing together the catalogues of over 70 major UK and Irish libraries. In a single search you can discover the holdings of the UK’s national libraries (including the British Library), many University libraries, and specialist research libraries.
